What does it Look Like to be a Christian who is Not Struggling? Part 2 of 4

Please explain. What about us who are Not Struggling? What about we who are sound and secure, can’t much relate to instability, lack and without. Sure we want to insert some soul rest here to prevent the notion of being put up on a pedestal or like some people who have it easy by acknowledging every1one has struggles of some sort. True, but the breach is a Grand Canyon apart in a mixed multitude church. While some saints struggle over a stock investment drop, or a company director mandated extra hours on a project, or the color paint desired for the nursery or spare bedroom was sold out and discontinued, other Christians are struggling with their food provision dropped, their temp job hours and position were eliminated, or the rental lease where they lived was not renewed and new tenants replaced them.

Here is how i can tune your ear to hear the beat of the Heart of God. There is no denial that multiple Country Western songs openly have Christian messages and themes. But the other longstanding jest of the lyrics in Country Western genre is that if you play the song in reverse, you will get your “job back, your pickup truck back, your girlfriend back, and of course your dog back to life.” (Lol, hehehe, 😉

Well, we rarely judge, bash, separate, or internally ask a bunch of questions about Country Western Christians Struggling in situations. You see and agree whatever God’s people are plagued by or struggling with, God can stay (stop) it and turn it; from struggle to stable our God is Able!

Numbers 16:47

So Aaron took it as Moses said and ran into the midst of the assembly. And behold, the plague had already begun among the people. And he put on the incense and made atonement for the people. 48 And he stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stopped. 50 And Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance of the Tabernacle, when the plague was stayed (stopped).

And in…

Deuteronomy 23:5

But the LORD your God would not listen to Balaam; instead the LORD your God turned (reversed) the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loved you.

What is it to be a Christian? Jesus has played our MP3 & DVD backwards and Redeemed and Restored us. Jesus Christ stopped or Stayed the plague that was against us and turned or Reversed every curse! We are set free from the struggle and it is turned into blessing. We are in Christ’s salvation (Greek word = Soteria) and saved  from our struggle, Aman to Amen!

There are countless Christians who have been made whole by:

  • Jesus Christ,
  • completion of the cross, burial, & resurrection
  • newness of life abundantly
  • being filled with The Holy Spirit, and
  • experiencing eternal life & salvation

Christians whose real life is “Not Struggling,” but resilient and stable by Grace manifested in every aspect of life.   “So what does it Look Like…, to be a Christian who is Not Struggling?” (so you wanna see? check out  part 3)

  1. […] Interdependent, Interdenominational, Interracial, and at the Cross cultural, Word Based, Spirit-Filled churches like bcc are called to a mixed multitude ministry where Struggling or Not Struggling does not divide nor define us, but where Christ unifies us. Churches from England, Israel, the US, Des Moines, and Ames, Iowa testify of how Christians who are “Not Struggling” experience internal uncomfortableness, resistance, or desire to be around demographics like themselves when the “Struggling” Christians begin to pervade their community or local church body. I think that is why The Kingdom of God builds and establishes God Houses of His people who are overcomers from various struggles? We are testimonies of Christ’s Redemption and Restoration.  (continue reading: part 2) […]
