A Power Nap

Resurrection Sunday has been said eloquently to be the most highly commemorated celebration of the Christian faith. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is His death, burial, and resurrection to life accredit The Son of God as preeminent (ref. 1 Cor. 15:1-4; Col. 1:15-18) Most every church program and/or preacher proclaims this good news of the sacrifice and substitution for us by our Savior. BCC and pastor toran reached and treached toward the same!

In the creative context and title of A Power Nap, this message focuses on the symbols and lessons learned in seeing “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise” in Mark’s gospel chapter five. The people at Jairus’ house said his daughter was dead. The Word pastor toran tries to stir in our hearts is what it means when our love, hopes, and future feels dead. The true revelation is Jesus said the little girl was sleep. Where the people chose to laugh at The Christ, we choose to learn. What is the hinge or hook? Jesus said, I AM The Resurrection.”

Listen and be drawn into the door.
